Medical School

Saturday 10th Jan 2009 to be held at the

University of Cambridge

A conference organised by Doctors for all students intending to study Medicine at Universities across the country.

"MedSchool Conferences are comprehensive, challenging and present medical school and medical careers in all their gory detail as you won't see them in a glossy medical school prospectus."

Medicine attracts many more young people than medical schools are able to accept thus, the aim of this conference is to provide information about courses, admissions procedures and careers to help prospective students to gain entry into medical schools and make informed decisions about their choice of career.

After the success of previous MEDSCHOOL conferences at Cambridge and London, there has been a great demand for a similar event to be held once again at the University of Cambridge, an institution which is at the forefront of medical education and research.

This course is aimed at all students interested in studying medicine, at any medical school.

Students currently in the fifth and lower sixth form (Year 11 & 12) will find the course very valuable, because they will receive guidance on applying, interviews and reapplying, if things do not go according to plan. Students who have attended in previous years have found this course to be advantageous in obtaining a place a medical school.

With confirmation of their place delegates will be sent a complete programme. Please apply early in order to avoid disappointment as places will be limited.
